January 6, 2003 (Computerworld) -- In June and July 2002, Computerworld invited the public to nominate IT professionals whom they considered to be exceptional leaders. We received more than 600 nominations. Those candidates were asked to complete a survey that addressed topics such as their backgrounds, their experiences and the work environments they have created.
This list represents those who most closely matched Computerworld's definition of an IT leader. They are presented here alphabetically, with data collected in August and September 2002.
